I'm the same way, once the game went like that it's been like that since...exiting and reloading doesn't help

almost just as bad as cyberpunk when it 1st came out haha...Capcom needs to patch this fast

Running AMD 7900x3D + 32Gb 6000mhz ram + 4080

I'm not sure what everyone has graphic wise, but the hi-res texture pack dlc's minimum requirements are a 4070. I have a 4060, so I disabled the dlc, it runs a little better but I'm still getting polygons. Unfortunately, no beautiful scenery for me...

Mate, you should delete the Shader-Cache (File in the gamefolder) + you can use the Windows-Disk Clean Up tool to deleate all garbage including "Shader Cache" on Windows (there're two of them!

After that - Testing!
If this didn't solved the problem:
Deinstall the game and do a fresh installation!

That steps helped me out!

PLUS this Tutorial, to get a little bit more better performance:

Try to verify the game files, I did that just now and it came up saying I was missing 2 files and it had to download 38gb, now all the textures and character models are back to normal

Maybe give that a try

To verify game files right click the game in steams library ---> properties ---> installed files ---> verify integrity of game files

And wait for steam to do its thing
I had the same issue and the problem went away after downloading the High Resolution Texture Pack DLC on the store page. The pack applied a fix to all the textures even when I didn't select the High Res textures in the options.
what GPU/how much VRAM do you have?
Back to hogwarts legacy, First days > Game beutiful textures all loading so quick You think they are pre-loaded in the area.
First update > Game broke, Lod Broke, Texture Not loading anymore, They all look like hagrids, Game performance dropped, Never fixed for my pc spec. I hate it, same happening here.

Move into the game folder mostly located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter Wilds\
There you will find the file:
shader.cache2 -> delete this one!
Then search windows for:
Disk Cleanup -> Start as Admin and in the list for the Drive "C:\Windows" you will find "Shader Cache" as well -> enable by Checkkbox!
Clean the system!

Back to Steam - Library -> Monster Hunter Wilds -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Check Content for errors.

IF you had DLSS and Direct Storage updated, like I discribe in my Thread here:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/2246340/discussions/0/596268332586444944/

You MUST do the updates again, because these files will be exchanged by the Steam-Check!

When you restart the game, after these steps, the textures should be back again!

Yesterday after update v1.000.03.00 I had the Missing-Textures Error too - TODAY "of CAUSE" I had the same issue AGAIN, because of the Update v1.000.04.00!

What a Joke ... why is Capcom creating so many problems?!^^
