yeah but that wont help her much. she needs the fov wider to fix it.

not possible
it is possible.
Go into the game file and click on config.
itll open up a notepad with all settings
hit control f and find FOV and you can change it to whatever you waant. i think standard is 40

Well I haven't tried it but there's a line in the config.ini that just says "FOV=40" so that's probably what you're looking for.

Wider??? Should it not be the other way around to prevent motion sickness?

Smaller fov brings the camera closer and makes for a LOT more motion happening. Wider fov = wider view = less motion.

we tried it and it doesnt work. the game keeps changing it back to 40 somehow.

Gotta make sure you save the file afterwards before you close out of it or it won't save

or make it read-only so the game cant change it back to default values

What was the FOV value for camera distance "Far" on Monster hunter World?

Have you personally done this? Because this doesn't work for me at all

any extra settings youve had done? I changed my config file to Fov=80, saved it and made it read only. Yet the FoV doesnt change in-game.

It depends on the type of visual sensitivity they have. I need high FoVs and play Minecraft at Quake Pro, for instance.

One of my friends gets motion sick at that and needs very low FoV (They set Minecraft to be about 45 FoV).
