I think it's still funny that steam users have no idea what the thumbs up and thumbs down on a review means. You're giving the game a bad review but recommending it to others

Steam user reviews are a joke. Often time there's like one minor issue with an otherwise fantastic game, and you'll see "thumbs down, this game stinks because I don't like one line of text!!!!!". I wouldn't take these seriously.

like or not ppl still pay attention to these and not so much to your opinions.

It was obvious that there was going to be people review bombing immediately after launch.

Let's see where that number is by the end of the day, or even in a couple days.

people are mad about the performance issues (rightfully so) if capcom gets it sorted out the reviews will change. btw the game runs flawlessly on ps5 on performance settings. actually really surprised

I see exactly the opposite from hundreds of fanboys. Like 'can't run game/runs like trash/worst game I've seen yet' and a thumbs up

That's good to hear. Figured the console versions would run better than pc

It seems a lot of negative reviews are coming from AMD users. It seems a lot of AMD users can't play the game due crash when launching the game.
I mean, the game's 3 hours old. Of course the majority of reviews right now are from people who are having refund-window technical issues. It does seem to be quite a few of them though. I'm gonna guess by the time the people who are currently too busy playing it to leave a review notice the page and want to counterbalance that we might see it swing back up to... I dunno, 60, 70%-ish? Which is still pretty damning.

That's funny, because any bias towards one GPU or the other I was seeing for the beta and benchmark seemed to be the opposite, and I can say as an nVidia user that they all were busted to hell for me.

The reviews always serve a purpose, and if you're competent enough you can find the reviews that make the difference.

Just like any review site you either trust the reviews or you don't.

And most will be either on Windows 11, or not using driver 25.2.1
Much like when monster hunter world started the negative reviews stem from bad performance and other issues to people trying to play the game on low end or outdated PCs, now grated capcom is pretty bad at optimizing pc games for mid to low hardware as people with high end pcs aren't having issues.

I my self am not having any issues, but i do understand where they are coming from, as i used to attempt to play games i shouldn't on a bad pc many years ago.

but that is where the vast majority of the negative reviews are coming from, which are valid, if you can't play the game or can barely play it due to optimization issues that's fair, but hardly any of them are about the game it self.

Ehhh, gonna have to disagree with you there, there are people with 3070's, 3080's, and 40xx's who are downvoting and refunding for subpar FPS. Meanwhile there are at least a handful of people with 20xx's and earlier who seem to be having a grand ol' time with it.

It's one of the more weirdly inconsistent sample sets I've seen.
