The flickering hasn't gone away either, but AMD seems to have added a tool for reporting errors that appear after a game crash. At least I didn't have it before. I sent everything I sent to CAPCOM support in this report, if they answer me, I'll write to you about it.

you don't need to bother so much for this. you can just enable compatibility with windows 8

I have a RX580 and after Update 1 my game is crashing on startup, even in Windows 8 compatibility mode and running as administrator.

This also happened to me. I was able to run the game once. But after that, it is always crashing on startup. Even if I reboot my PC.

its because of the direct storage, there is a ''mod'' on nexus with downgrade, and the game starts

This solve the problem for me apparently.

This is the nexus mod I used: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/1539 (The name is "monster hunter wilds old dstorage version" from "blacklotus909011" if the link gets deleted)

And just for the record: downloading .dll files from the internet is anything but safe. Specially from a site like nexus mod where anyone can upload anything to a "mod" and claim it to be a "fix".

As I stated in my previous message, I downloaded both dlls from "blacklotus909011" mod and it worked to solve my MH Wilds problem. But that is a risk move and it can infect your PC with trojans, ransomware and etc. Be careful with the risks you may take.

what was your problem? ours (amd rx580 and vega crash) doesnt solve with this fix. I tried yesterday
