That's good
Already cleaned cache like 3 times, reinstalled 25.2.1 drivers two times and even redownloaded game - still nothing works, rocks still flicker like crazy.
Unchecked compatibility mode on steam.exe (didn't have it on mhw) and trying again - maybe it will work...
Update in regards to same issue on Asus Rog Ally X (handheld): Updated to newest graphic driver from here (as they might be different than usual amd drivers): https://rog.asus.com/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-ally-x-2024/helpdesk_download/?model=rog%20ally%20x%20(2024)
Version V32.0.12033.3002 from 2025/02/03
Disabled Compatibility Mode for Game + Steam.
Had to do the shaders again, but flickering issue is gone and no crash on startup now as it seems.
For Windows Users on LATEST Windows edition, latest 2 drivers, and VRR (Freesync/Gsync) screen and AMD:
Also, just curious but did you ever try turning this setting off?
It's called "Dynamic Refresh Rate" -- it lowers your frame rate to save power. Seeing as the game "hangs" over and over with GPU data, maybe this setting might be causing an issue if it is changing the refresh rate over and over in response to the GPU appearing to be idle.
I have a sneaking suspicion the driver will go official in the next few days unless there is a major bug with it.
Whatever you say buddy,

What GPU do you have? You can get the latest driver for even older GPUs by using the autodetect tool. The driver grabbed by the tool may be newer than the one posted on the Graphics card's page.
**If you use the PRO drivers on non-PRO GPUs, you should get the driver using the autodetect tool and never from the page
