Need a warning for the eyez on that...

To be honest, looking at that video it does not seem like a driver issue at all but a problem with the game's routine and how it is being ran on your GPU.

Specifically it looks like what happens when textures load and unload, because the game has no idea what to keep in memory. Usually happens when you have no VRAM or RAM available.

Are you at RAM or VRAM limit? Did you turn off page memory?
Turning off adaptive sync in KDE settings fixed this for me. Cheers.

Could you elaborate what KDE settings are? Is this available in Windows or somewhere else?

Had the same issue. What fixed it for me is that i disabled Steam to run in compatibility mode. (was set to compatibility mode for WIndows 8 for some reason)

disabled steam, what do you mean?

edit: disabled steam to run in compatibility mode?

no i mean go to properties on the Steam App (in Windows) and disable compatibility mode (it was enabled for me for some reason)

No it is not on Windows(anymore). KDE is a desktop environment only available on Linux Operating systems.

It is the desktop environment the Valve Steam Deck uses- though I am on Nobara.

crashes without compatibility, flickering rocks with compatibility. Also AMD.

Well i just jumped on my PC at home through remote desktop from work, updated to the 25.1 Beta AMD driver and then ran the game, took several minutes to recompile the textures but happily sat on the menu with everything running smooth and no texture issues.

No compatibility changes; just updated to the Beta Drivers.

Obviously not going to go any further as i'm on remote desktop but looking hopeful for when i get home tonight.

CPU - 5900x
Ram - 32gb
Graphics - 7900XTX

oh i didnt know that, i hade like 2 crashed so far but i blamed my GPU Undervolt. You sure its caused by this? that would be a bummer

i can't even get into the game, same crash as with the benchmark tool....game dies before even the shader thing i done at the first start up

I had the same issue, crash as soon as it launches, right? going to the .exe and having it launch in compatibility mode for windows 8 fixed that for me.

so I was able to boot game without compatibility by disabling compatibility in steam... and making sure monster hunter wilds is disabled as well...
