Crash report on startup
Is it normal that every time i launch the game it launch a crah report during the shader compilation ?

edit :

Apparently for people who crash on startup there are multiple solution.

Solution 1 : Run the game and/or steam in admin

Solution 2 : Right click on the game game -> Browse game file -> Right click on the game exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check the "Launch the program on compatibility mode" -> Select Windows 8
(This solution worked for me. As soon as i launch the first time the game with compatibility mode it crashed. I clicked on "Apply default settings" and now the game is launching without crashing)

edit 2: Latest driver for AMD product seems to resolve the texture Flickering + Crash on startup for amd product

Might have found a solution for this fixed i have tried the windows 8 comp mode and it works but gives you a flicker hell of rocks so i found another solution and am unsure if this will work but currently download the shades without no crash

1. Go into your graphic settings and look for Graphic Performance preference, there should be a bar that says choose an app to set preference make sure its a desktop app and not a Microsoft store app and look for "add desktop app" if you dont see that you will need to browse for your monsterhunterwilds.exe in your steam folder can usually find it Program Files (x86)>Steam>Steamapps>Common>monsterhunterwilds folder

2.Once you have selected your game click on the options bar that should have appeared in the graphic settings and set it to high performance and save after that you should be able to run monster hunter wilds just fine i however am still running the game in admin mode just in case

atm still am downloading shades up to 70ish% with no crash will update up in case

crash on loading, windows 8 compatibility mode makes the game run but the entire terrain flickering issue is still here, switching throught all the video settings does nothing.
tried all listed "fixes" as well

TL;DR Crash or Win8 Comp, Win8 Comp = Flicker Hell

Refund or wait?

Dragon's dogma 2 Had a similar issue with rx vega cards. It got eventually patched out by capcom but took like 4 months. Hopefully they will also, unless it's on AMD driver side, since people are reporting that version 25 of drivers solves issues, but vega support won't come any time soon.

I preloaded the game earlier today and shut it down, and waited for the download or whatever that happened after 12am. I Also had the crash report popping up on startup and stopping the shader compiling - except the first time I ran it, for some reason, where it waited a while before doing it, roughly about a quarter or less through.
Clearing my cache, restarting computer, running as administrator didn't work for me. Running it on compatibility mode now and as it's compiling the shaders it hasn't crashed yet, fingers crossed; but I'm wary of it crashing again. I'll report back whether or not it does.

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core Processor, 3801 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
GPU AMD Radeon RX 7600

Running in Windows 8 compatibility let me run the shader compiler, which took quite a while but I experienced the same flickering others did. I think I tweaked all of the graphical settings in game, but to no avail. Still can't run the game normally. Deleting the Crash Report files didn't help, but makes the crashing quicker at least. I also deleted the version.dll file in the Steam folder and that didn't work either. Looking at more solutions.
