Arachnophobia mode
Why can't the Arachnophobia Mode work for (Lala Barina) and (Nerscylla)? Will the module be modified or added mods in the future to make arachnophobes enjoy the game more comfortably?

Okay?
How about you just kill them?
Maybe that will fix you too.

hmm coz it would be like claustrophobia mode for Amnesia or thasalophobia mode for Subnautica?
I don't play monster hunter for the giant spiders, dude. You and a bunch of other people in this thread seem to have no idea how a phobia actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works.

sadly there is no good fix here, they just shouldn't of added the giant spiders in the first place, but now they are here this is the best fix. you either remove them from the game, leave them as is, or create whole new enemies because a reskin of them wouldn't work at all with the dynamic attacks and animations. heck the slimes already barely look decent slimes have to have little legs sticking out the bottom and they are so large they are super noticeable. lets add on they also ruin every spider ambush points. if spiders weren't so insignificant they would actually be making the game easier because it ruins all of their ambushes.

now imagine this on one of the large monsters. it would never work. they would have to be 2 completely different fights which will just boil down to which fight is easier for what to do, which isn't fair for arachnophobia players who would have a easier time against the spider versions, and you'll have players fighting the phobia version cause its easier for them. the best way to maintain the game for the greater majority of players at this point is what they have done. the perfect solution is having never added them in the first place. they could remove them, but without adding new monsters in their place it can make the monster roster feel more empty, and will upset players that content is getting removed.
As an arachnaphobe, you arachnaphobes need to suck it up and quit being such whiny children. It's not real, get over it.
"Arachnaphobia mode" is the stupidest thing.

if you're afraid of animals maybe dont play a game about animals
I honestly wouldn't care if the readability of the monster was drastically worse because it was a giant slime... but having a panic attack and not being able to complete the quest because I expected the arachnophobia mode to actually do its job and it didn't, sucks balls
Go try feeding spiders with flies.
Or go play Grounded.

Yeah I get some people wouldn’t care if it doesn’t match well just so they can play. But a lot of people would care and both views are understandable.

I do agree they could be a lot better about even just labeling that it only affects small monsters.

Why nobody 10+ years ago had any problem with those animals?

Honestly even if it was two separate settings, one for small monsters and one for large, and the one for large came with a big warning on it that was like (hey this won't match the monsters attacks but at least it won't be a spider) I think that'd be ok. In an ideal world it would be nice to have something rigged well and readable that isn't a spider but, beggers can't be choosers.

Also what's with a majority of people in this thread just being like "waa get over it losers" it's a thread about an accessibility issue, if it doesn't effect you, bite your tongue and walk away. Don't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's unproductive.

I am very happy that this feature has been added to the game.
I just think that since Arachnophobia mode is designed.
Why not include all spider monsters.

They said due to hitboxes and the large monsters moves having tells etc. which makes since

Lala Barina isn't even a actual spider, it's only got 4 legs. I've got a fear of spiders and though L.B would set it off but it didn't.

If Capcom does do something to include L.B and the other one in arachnophobia mode they should also filter the people using it out of matching with everyone else so the babies only play with the babies.

Oy vey, cannot play game because of scary pixel spiders is something new.
