CPU usage over 90%
Greetings fellow hunters, recently I upgraded my RTX 1650 to a RTX 3060 but the usage still lingers between 85 and 95% of CPU usage running on lowest graphics, am I doing something wrong or it's just the game?

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
Installed RAM 24.0 GB (23.9 GB usable)
GPU RTX 3060

I know some people have already responded but this is perfectly normal, I have a 3060 Ti and an i7 CPU, it maxes at the same range yet the thing you should be worried about is Temp. Check your GPU temp in Task Manager, or just put your hand near your computer. Does your PC get good ventilation? If its got a couple fans and a thin case. My case is the Aurora r12 (thickest case with only 2 fans) and I'm looking to upgrade/switch it soon after launch.

In theory your fine. If your ever worried about maxing CPU or GPU usage, close game for breaks on your PC and even restart it every few hours after playing. If your game starts to stutter and freeze a lot after playing for a while, immediately press Alt F4 and restart your PC, give it a good break. Just consider your PC when playing. :MHRISE_Felyne:

well, you update your GPU, not your CPU, what you expect?
11400 and 3060 is a quite balanced setup.

Changing your GPU is not going to effect CPU usage.

That's normal for your CPU.
I have the same one except the K and OverClocked. It means it's working.
Here's the score with a 4080S same CPU:

It's your CPU. I got an i7. Your i5 is pretty dated. CPUs can make a difference along with your GPU

Not to be rude but you should stop trying to give technical advice.

I have an i5-12600k with a 3060Ti. Mostly 70-80fps on the benchmark with some dips into 50s. I'm still hoping there's some optimization, as any meaningful upgrade would cost close to $2000 where I live.

It's a lower end CPU from 4 years ago it's going to be stressed.

Also got a i5, when I get a new job I must consider upgrading it.

Yes it will, not much tho, the game its also poorly optimiced, my i7-9700K also surpases 80% just by opening the game
