avoid latest nvidia drivers?

got a weird black screen issue with the latest driver update. read on reddit that others after having this issue with 40xx series cards. basically screen turns black, no signal to monitor, fans on pc ramp up and you're stuck until you manually restart pc.
just rolled back to the drivers from december...

I've had little issues besides some of the menus don't load properly. Reddit is your issue.

Same, absolute bs. Just add the game to Nvidia Profile Inspector after someone uploads the profile, or override the dlss yourself. It will likely be the same exact difference. I was already trying dlss4 on the beta and both FG and upscaling were indeed better in that case.

I updated my drivers this morning and have had no issue. Maybe it is a PC issue

does nothing. also tried hdmi.

it's not a pc thing. literally no issue before the drivers. it's been acknowledged by nvidia as well

just got a 5070ti for this game and it has no signal with display port, only running it in hdmi works in 60hz mode works.

interesting. the reddit posts i saw said it might have something to do with high refresh rates. perhaps try rolling back to the drivers from early december?
