Character edit vouchers are obnoxious

Everyone here should pre-order Rise of the Ronin. It has a great character creator and you can edit your character for free at any time. The voucher is a cash grab or retention mechanic? Can someone explain to me why there are vouchers to edit your character? That is awful. Why aren't people boycotting this practice?

That's right. You figured it all out. I don't care about the vouchers at all because you can just mod the game and give greasy eastern european men access to your personal data in exchange for unlimited vouchers. My real intention was to spread the word about Rise of the Ronin coming to steam. And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling Capcom loyalists. If you buy Rise of the Ronin you are directly funding Nioh 3.

Dragon's Dogma had the whole ingame RC currency. You can just farm that stuff and you can buy those things without spending a dime. Unfortunately MH doesn't have that luxury. We all wish it had that, but nope...

For monster hunter we can edit our hair and colors for free at any time, i'm not good at making faces so i pick a good preset dude and slap a nice beard on him.

Yah vouchers are pretty trash tier.

If they follow the same pattern as their previous games they'll have events that award them for free on occassion.

That's kind of why the community accepts the microtransactions, they're all cosmetic and in exchange there's a good flow of events, new monsters, etc. that come in for a long time after the game's been released.

You say that, but Capcom recently tried to kill mods in all of their games after a Street Fighter tournament accidentally left a certain chun li mod on. I'm sure they backpedaled a little bit, but it still happened once.

Misinformation? I haven't played DD2 in forever, but last time I played you could just pay some RC to a certain store in game, and it had those vouchers. I'm sorry if my information is outdated and they changed that.

Agreed. Even if it was expensive as all hell, that would still be ok. There's plenty of ways to get money. Unfortunately that ain't happening...

I dont think Ive ever bothsred with that system. I just start a new character or use cheat engine

Im positive that it will be beyond simple to just use cheat engine or a save editor down the line to give yourself free vouches. Console players are ♥♥♥♥ out of luck though
