Is the game playable on low end pcs?
my specs
i5 12400f
16ram 3200
1660 super

the beta was unplayable for me, did someone test if the full game is smoother?

for more context the game would hit 28 fps at the rey dau area.

that was with the game on the lowest configs possible and with frame gen on

the game also was blurry af, i moved the camera and couldnt see ♥♥♥♥

edit: im planning to upgrade my video card but the game still looking like ♥♥♥♥ with a 4060ti

edit2: i was testing on 1280x720

edit3: i bought the game and is tottaly playable, im playing at medium setting FG on at 1280x720 and im getting 80+ fps, for those who have a doubt if its going to run and ur settings are simmilar to mine just go for it.

The beta was an old build, while the benchmark uses a more recent build that will better reflect how the final game will run.

That's with framegen, which will probably make the game feel laggy as it kills some of your 'real' frames for 'fake' generated frames.

Try with framegen off, latest drivers (Wilds drivers are released now) and force the newest DLSS version using the guide I link. Set DLSS to ultra performance.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunter/comments/1ikvt23/mh_wilds_pc_how_to_get_more_performance_and/

Good luck

Edit: Just realized your card doesn't support DLSS as far as I know, so that guide probably won't help you. FSR should still be usable though.

the beta was not a good flash point for the game play and performance of full release. you will know when it is released later today.
Depends on what you personally define as playable for me personally I can play a game in 30fps class performance so if I can get at least 30fps class performance on a game I'll call it playable. I'll still call out a company for poorly optimizing the game just because I can tolerate 30fps on my setup doesn't mean I can't call them out on not optimizing the game better.

i understand that, i also find fine playing at 30, but the problem is that i cant see what is happening on the screen, the game is blurry and im not saying that to bait reactions.

when the character move and when i move the camera is like the pixels begin to shuffle on the screen.

i played monster hunter world for a long time with the things lowspecgamer did, removed textures, shadows just to play on like 30 to 40 fps, but i could see what was happening.

on wilds i could play but the screen gets so messy that i gave up trying to play

Personally I'm going to play the game on a Mini PC myself its able to at least according to the benchmark get 30fps class performance with custom settings where I set everything to medium or high if the option is high or low & 1440p FSR set to performance. The fps isn't always 30fps in places that are actual places the player has control but its good enough. I can get 30-40fps on alll high 1440p on monster hunter world with the same Mini PC though.

I have a ryzen 5700 G and a 3060 with 16 G ram and the game is playable. sure I have to set the graphics low but it still looks better than MH4 and runs at 60 average, 90 with FSR frame generation on.

You technically meet the minimum requirements but I doubt it would be playable by most people's standards. This game runs poorly on high-end hardware let alone lower end stuff.
I got 100% on World + a few TA world records playing at 18~28 fps. MonHun is just too good of a game to pass up! Start a timer and refund before the two hours is up if you cant get a stable frame rate.

Plan on locking my frames at 30 even though I can hit 45~60fps

12th Gen i5-12400 2.50 GHz
32.0 GB RAM DDR4 3600
3050 XC

If you upgrade i would also higher your RAM alongside your VCARD!

The game is pretty ugly though !!!
I com efrom FF7 Rebirth on unreal engine 4

That game looks wayyyyyy better then this monster hunter monstrosity !:P

But at least the game runs fine although it being ugly !

i9 14900K
RTX4080
192 GB RAM

PRESET ULTRA
3840 x 2160
RT OFF
FRAME GEN OFF
DLSS QUALITY ON

Score : 29784

AVG FRAMES

87.94 fps

So seems to run fine, basically i only need 60 fps VSync for the Monitor i play on !!
SO good to go probably !
