I'd say that emulators exist... but they don't make multiplayer easy.... and there was that whole thing where Nintendo took a scorched earth approach against Yuzu. I've got the last working copy of Yuzu and a backup copy, but who knows when I'll end up losing it?
There's Ryujinx with a new group of people now working on it.
Right now every older MH game can all be emulated and they all work really well.
Still would be nice for official ports with fully working online (and offline hub quest like in MHGU) and event quest added back in and stuff. I would happily pay $60 or $70 for a pc port of MHTri with offline high rank quest

Tri is best played with a Wii remote motion controler it was soooo goood
You can use the wii remote on Dolphin! You just need a usb sensor bar, and I highly recommend it since it is easier to use the High Rank offline quest mods

What i want is a remaster or rework of all of them with at least MHGU graphics or preferably Rise graphics, I wouldn't expect World graphics or anything.

Yep! I would love for them to do that, I think they would sell pretty good too

Generations Ultimate is probably the best, its got the most content, you can play prowler mode in which you play as a palico instead of a hunter (Can switch back and fourth its basically the 15th weapon type and extremely fun) My personal favorite is Tri but you need a wii or dolphin emu and a wii remote and sensor bar for best experience

I don't even know how well Ryujinx runs. When I was originally picking which Switch emulator to get I ended up settling on Yuzu for some reason. Don't rightly remember. I think it might have been mods.

There's a ton of forks of Yuzu with updates and enhancements now. Your save file can be copied from one to another without issue. Hell, Ryujinx is still doing its thing on github and that is the same save format as well.
Has Nintendo stopped trying to purge all mention of them from existence yet? Last time I checked it was difficult to even discuss the topic and there were broken links everywhere leading to discontinued github pages. I kinda gave up once I found working Yuzu files again.

Kinda funny how the "slops" are keeping the franchise alive
"Alive" is a gross exaggeration. It is still moving, but it is hardly alive.

i mean your welcome to your opinion, but i heavily disagree. I've been playing monster hunter since the beginning and have yet run into one i don't like, i played the Beta for wilds, loved it, and now when the game comes out at midnight the day of me typing this, i'll be playing it and loving it too.

Nintendo started to relax around it simply because they couldn't keep up with all the forks that started to go live once they did it, the Streisand effect and all. There's the final Yuzu build saved, Citron, Ryujinx, Suyu, and a bunch of other forks you can find. I think Ryujinx Is the best specifically for Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and Citron is the best for most titles and that's a Yuzu fork and Ryujinx is its own program entirely.
