Getting more FPS on low-mid range hardware
Turn on AMD FSR and then Frame-Gen and you should average WAY more FPS. I'm running a 3070 with a i7-8700k and 32gbs of ram and I'm averaging 100fps on quality. There will probably be a day 1 driver as well as modders making optimization mods on nexus. Also i'm hearing lossless scaling can work but i've never tried that and yes I understand frame-gen is "fake frames" but this is the best option we have for low-mid range hardware at the moment.

I'd rather die than use DLSS or Framegen.

gonna have to wait for modders to optimize the game then more the likely

im on a 3070ti (strix), 5900x and 64 ram. getting a relatively stable 70 in the grass area in the plains without frame gen. did take a lot of tweaking tho
but how are you even using frame gen, the option isnt supported below 40series cards. well i suppose third party stuff but i find that iffy tbh

Do not use framegen. It increases input lag and reduces the actual fps you get, which makes the game less responsive to input. Also it looks like ♥♥♥♥.

FSR also looks like ♥♥♥♥ but genuinely does increase fps so whatever. Just pretend you're playing on a PSP or something like the old days.

Remember people Framegen is not a performance tool it's a visual tool at making the game look smoother at the expense of your input delay.
Make sure you have a base of min 60FPS or a recommended 70+FPS before you turn on framegen you might be able to use it at 50fps but expect there to be visual artifacts and smear and more input delay.

Frame gen likes more FPS not less and the more you have the less negatives there are.

Turning on frame gen will obviously give you more frames but you will actually be getting worse input latency than frame gen off.

Frame gen in not a time machine. It can't break the known laws of the universe.
Frame gen Facepalm :csgoskull:
UR PC IS TRASH & U SHOULD FEEL BAD. PLZ GET A REAL VIDEO CARD B4 U POST ABOUT HOW U CANT RUN A BRAND NEW AAA GAME IN 2025 WITH UR GARBAGE 4 YEAR OLD HARDWARE

AMD FSR is supported for all cards especially anything under the 40 and 50 series. Nvidia is scummy so you can't use there version of frame gen without a 40 or 50 series gpu

You understand how fake fps work? It adds input lag unless you have very stable 60+ fps.

You can optimize this and reduce latency in NVIDIA control panel and other ways as well. NVIDIA boost should be enabled in-game and depending on your monitor you might have a low latency mode like I do

You clearly don't understand how fake fps works i see

This is where common sense comes into play and you optimize your settings in-game and outside of the game. And regarding latency ill tell you what I will be telling everybody else You can optimize this and reduce latency in NVIDIA control panel and other ways as well. Ahh so you're slow I see

Just play at 45-55fps on DLSS quality. Its the same. frame gen isnt real. why destroy input latency for high green numbers on your screen?
