We get it a few hours after the consoles :)
hell in the UK we get it in 24 hours and 3 minutes on steam (19 hours and 3 minutes on console)

I cant remember the game but I had one were unpacking was going to take longer than the download. half way through i got pissed uninstalled and re-downloaded... got the game faster that way than if i had waited lol.

Think now-a-days nvme drives make this stuff faster?

Surely it does since i think all that is based on Disk Write speed. If it gives me an estimated unpacking time i very well may reinstall it. 1 because i wanna play it, and 2 because i dont wanna stay up til 3am slowly watching it unpack since with my luck, I'd turn my pc off in the middle of it, something would get corrupted and then I'd have to reinstall anyways

im a bit nervouse... went to check the download and it had a big red NOT INSTALLED on it.
Hoping its because i uninstalled the benchmark as this downloaded....

I think steam is just being silly. Earlier it told me in big red letters NO CONNECTION, as i was actively on youtube on my pc and using my deck with no issue

hit windows key+r to bring up the run command and put in:
shutdown -s -t 14400
the 14400 is 4 hours in seconds.
if you do that your pc will shut down in 4 hours. I often do that when i have a lot to download.

side note 0300... lucky g*t its 0500 it release here in the uk. my usual sleep time is 0600 (i work nights) so I will wait even longer lol

I dont know if it was my internet or everyone trying to download last night, but mine took like an hour or two to download

I assume so because thats exactly what mine has. It has the refresh icon next to it so id imagine when it releases you click that and then itll do the typical "ready to play" thing

that gives me hope, i cant find where it has put the files which makes me a little nervous. Though I have a 1gb line so i could redownload it on the day... just paniced there may be an error with my hard drive
