This is the most expensive game that I own
My husband got this game the premium deluxe for me as a gift, because I loved Rise and I played it both in NS and PC, mostly in NS with 600 hours. I just hope it's worth teh $100. I don't even know if it will run well on my PC, despite it being above required specs.

Its either played on....id say medium yes, if you can push it down to 40, you can probably go high, but yeah its not great.
It was NOT great, it looked like a pokemon Switch game. I am not happy too lol
Well....you CAN squeeze out a new GPU from your husband...like my wife did me....! He got you the premium game...wheres the premium GPU?

Yeah, no worries.

It's actually kind of sad because I can't be the only one to think that Rise at 4k on the PC looked good. I know not everyone liked them but I thought the stylized graphics looked fantastic at higher resolutions with better textures.

We could have had a nice running Wilds if the portable team worked on it.
I skipped Rise, and im kinda bummed about it really. Reason is, im not really into Anime style games, the only Anime i like is Castlevania on Netflix, as i grew up on those games, but Rise just seems to have way too much of it. Anime...annoys me...the sounds they make, the way they talk etc, i dunno, maybe im weird. All i see is a trap for weird men, and ive seen what anime can do to grown men who are socially akward, it aint pretty.

BUT! maybe ill jump into Rise if Wilds is too easy and i finish it too fast. either Rise or emulating Tri Ultimate.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night on the original Playstation is so good.

But yeah, check out Rise. I think it looks great. I prefer World and I wish Generations Ultimate and 3 Ultimate were on Steam, but Rise is not horrible.

It looks great at 4k and a lot of PCs can run it at 4k unlike Milds.

You'd figure between the cost of living being stupidly high these years and games continuously decreasing in quality, that the price of games should be going down on account of being simply not being able to afford such ridiculous prices....

... but I'm guessing they keep pushing the prices up because they know Steam and other distributors are going to put them on sale.

Given we don't even get to truly buy games any more but only purchase conditional licenses to play them, they really should be a lot cheaper than they are.

Well, Cemu and MH3U still work fine together. Was playing that earlier today.
I've got a copy of Yuzu and the files for MHGU even though Nintendon't went all scorched earth on that one a while back... but I've not started my second playthrough yet (after the Switch version, that is).
Only problem is not being able to play them online any more, which is a shame.

Is Cemu the best way to play MH3U? Does it come with visual mods etc? Really wanna go back to Tri's world, that is my MH youth experience, played that solo and enjoyed the hell out of it.

Im sorry, but even on 1080p, you might have a horrible time with this game on that GPU.

My wifes Pc had a 4060 in it, and we play on Ultrawides at 3840X1600, it was impossible to run it without scaling down and lowering settings, to a point where the Re Engines poor design really showed its ugly face.

I bought her a 4070ti Super, as that was the only "high end" card i could find(wanted a 4080, impossible to find) and the game ran great at max settings with framegen.

If you play at 1080p, you MIGHT be able to tweak it, problems is the visuals in this game, they dont scale down well, its actually some of the worst i have EVER seen.

And we are both VERY strict about visuals ingame, we buy fully priced games, we expect fully priced visuals. If we have to scale down on more than capable hardware, we refund.
Yeah, I just benchmarked and the highest I got was 58FPS on the LOWEST settings. It's playable for me at medium settings at 50FPS.

Very disappointed, was expecting Rise level of performance.

Try to run it at 1080. I have a 4060Ti and can't run it at 2K worth a damn without it looking ugly. Like this, I can mostly have high sittings and it runs near 60 most of the time.

You CANNOT ever have expected this game to run like Rise does on PC, Rise is a Switch game with upscaled textures, it was made for weaker hardware. Your hardware is really behind, so it's not really the game's fault at that point...
