This is the most expensive game that I own
My husband got this game the premium deluxe for me as a gift, because I loved Rise and I played it both in NS and PC, mostly in NS with 600 hours. I just hope it's worth teh $100. I don't even know if it will run well on my PC, despite it being above required specs.
12th gen intel core i7
32GB ram
geforce rtx 3050

Im sorry, but even on 1080p, you might have a horrible time with this game on that GPU.

My wifes Pc had a 4060 in it, and we play on Ultrawides at 3840X1600, it was impossible to run it without scaling down and lowering settings, to a point where the Re Engines poor design really showed its ugly face.

I bought her a 4070ti Super, as that was the only "high end" card i could find(wanted a 4080, impossible to find) and the game ran great at max settings with framegen.

If you play at 1080p, you MIGHT be able to tweak it, problems is the visuals in this game, they dont scale down well, its actually some of the worst i have EVER seen.

And we are both VERY strict about visuals ingame, we buy fully priced games, we expect fully priced visuals. If we have to scale down on more than capable hardware, we refund.

My boyfriend's girlfriend can't run it so she had to buy it on console :sakurabeachmomokolaugh:

It will run just don't expect it to look the greatest with that 3050. I would also suggest getting the program lossless scaling (you can get it here on steam) in the beta it helped improved performance but unsure with the release.

Yeah, I just benchmarked and the highest I got was 58FPS on the LOWEST settings. It's playable for me at medium settings at 50FPS.

Very disappointed, was expecting Rise level of performance.

Yep, I benchmarked and I am in peace that it's playable for me on medium settings at 50FPS. I know it should be better for the price, but oh well.

This game is unfortunately going to perform much much worse than Rise.

The later areas of the game, according to reviewers, run even worse than the starting areas so performance is expected to get worse as you play more.

And may i ask how the visuals looked? Because i tried it on my wifes 4060...and ooof....she was no happy, and my wallet had to bleed for it. Lowest settings in this game looks horrendous....this engine does not like scaling down, and upscaling looks obnoxious.

Its either played on....id say medium yes, if you can push it down to 40, you can probably go high, but yeah its not great.

Rise has a completely diffrent visual style, its not even in same category when it comes to asset fidelity. Rise is a Switch game, trying to keep the look of the old generation games. World and Wilds uses its own new visual style, mich higher poly count, texture size etc.

So ofcourse it will be worse than Rise, its made for switch.

Yes, that's what I said. I only added the word unfortunate because it's unfortunate for the OP with a 3050.

Yeah, no worries.

It's actually kind of sad because I can't be the only one to think that Rise at 4k on the PC looked good. I know not everyone liked them but I thought the stylized graphics looked fantastic at higher resolutions with better textures.

We could have had a nice running Wilds if the portable team worked on it.
