It's World but uglier, has record breaking performance issues, is much easier with a bunch of dumb gimmicks that ruin what makes Monster Hunter combat fun (kinda like how Rise and Iceborne did), and also has a lot of left wing political grifting injected into it.

If World was your first MH and you also enjoyed Rise, then you will enjoy Wilds.
If you liked World for its ecology focus, you will enjoy Wilds.
If you enjoy booting up a random game to play with friends without much thinking required, you will enjoy Wilds but good luck getting everyone on board playing this as at least one guy in your friend group is gonna be running this at 20FPS.

Other than that you should probably avoid this game.

Most importants are : Sehkret, 2 weapons switch, semi open world, Focus mode (Injuries)

you can take two weapons with you that you can swap between using your seikret while on hunts

more monster variety for starters, we get leviathans, more fanged beasts, insect large monsters, cephalopods, crustaceans. 2 weapons to swap between on hunts, focus system with unique animations for focus and mount attacks, and abunch more QoL
