How did it affect you? The item shop I just use because I cba assed to grind mons after 500 hours. You wouldnt even know I used if we where to be in a hunt together :P
Your overlay mod (PIE Hunter for world) was annoying and more impactfull then someone using a item shop mod. Infact, Alot of those users thought it was funny to post the info in game chats ruining the core of MH.
Incorrect, you only get bans on steam acct if the anti cheat is the valve anti-cheat, if its a 3rd party like denuvo, it will not effect your steam account at all. Also Wilds has not been stated to have any anti-cheat, it has a invasive performance reducing drm with denuvo, but no mention of any anti-cheat yet. I mean Monster hunter games are essentally single player games by design, they just have co-op. To me a multiplayer game is something like Marvel Rivals, or a MMORPG in those games you have to have other people. You can do all content in MH Wilds, World or any other MH games without needing another player to do it. You can especially do this in Wilds since you can literally have npcs join you on any hunt, and can even set it to auto invite them soon as a quest launches.
This might be why people say "its too easy" they prob were a single player that called in 3 npcs, so naturally with 4 things hitting it, its going to be easier. Its soemthing new to MH, you used to have to either fight alone or with other actual players. The npcs also have several benefits over other players: They can die and not remove carts from the death counter in a hunt, they just have to run back, so you get 3 free bodyshields that can do damage and cannot hurt your chance to complete the hunt. If your using those in every hunt I can see why they would say its easy.
I don't even remember what the mod was called, but, you can just keep that info to yourself. I used it way back when world first came out. If you don't say anything about it, you don't cause anyone elses experience to be lowered.
As for the item shop, what was the point? the entire point to the game is killing monsters, if you get to the point you don't wanna kill stuff to get stronger you might as well just quit the game at that point as thats kinda the entire point of a monster hunter game. You basically got your gear in a illegal way, its not legit if you used those npcs. Sure only you will know but its still cheated gear. Knowing the monsters health really doesn't give you much of an advantage, you still have to drain that bar to 0, knowing how much health it has just lets you get an idea how long it'll take you to kill it, based on how much dps you do. So Imo the item shop cheat mod is far worse than just knowing somethings health.
You do know easy anti cheat is a total joke to bypass right? most anti-cheats don't really do much, it stops maybe script kiddies, but someone who knows what they are doing is going to get thru it period, it usually causes more problems than it solves by having it. There is ways around anti cheat programs they just stop the most base level cheaters and thats it. The problem is not enough punishment is given to cheaters so they have no fear really. Most get away with it.
The point for me? Replayabillity? =)
...So we knew Elden Ring had EASY in it the moment the page was published, and as it is a separate installation, requiring a user to agree to it running, it usually is required to be declared before the user can purchase the licence.
Also, we have the back catalog to get an idea if it will ship with a client like that. Worlds never did.
And, in the case of Rise which does have Enigma, and is the sole example of a MH with one, well....

Depends on the mod, naturally, but graphical ones work online fine.
EDIT:
Double checked. Yeah that's DRM buddy. Helps to read the store listing. Also a lesson in trusting that a poster knows what they're talking about.
Again, I forget I'm on the glue eating speed boards.
Because it was a version update, and that literally happens with every modding community, official or otherwise.
