I found the solution to my performance problem with MHW. I had severe game freeze, sometimes not recovering, i had to hold the power button to restart the computer. Even at lowest settings. Also i found that DLSS Override made it worse. To gain performance, like on some motherboard BIOS "Game Mode" i disabled SMT in my bios. Turns out MHW really need it. After enabling SMT i was able to play at 60 fps no freeze.
FIX = Enable SMT in BIOS.
Check if you enabled "Game Mode" like features in BIOS that disable SMT, disable "Game Mode" in BIOS

Selecting a mission from the mission info screen does not set a waypoint despite giving giving the prompt "change waypoint?"
Furthermore, upon traveling to any area or departing on a quest where/when your current objective is a large monster, the game hard sets that monster as your waypoint, and you cannot remove it (regardless of how your target/objective settings are set) -unless- you select a new mission from the mission info screen (which, as previously mentioned, fails to update the waypoint to the newly selected objective).
To summarize, the waypoint/objectice system and settings do not function properly. The ONLY way to set a new waypoint is manually via selecting something from the map screen.
So I manage to set custom page file size to this
min = your ram size x 1.5
max = your ram size x 3
and I also use nexusmod >> Wilds OPTIMIZER FPS BOOST
It's the config.ini file that tuned to make game run more smoothly
It works for me by the moment.
