Yeah, it's pretty rough. I was watching Rurikhan's review and while I really like him I was listening to him praise the graphics while what he was showing on screen looked terrible. And he has a 7900XTX. It's going to be bad for the people on 'normal' rigs.

Rurikhan is very close with capcom, he can't really say things outright. He tries to soften the blow of any critique towards MH.

On another hand you have SuperRAD who went ham in, and felt like he was throwing insults at developers with how much he disliked almost everything in Wilds.

Better FPS can be caused due to the 13th/14th motherboards from intel. Be it Raptor or Meteor because of the degregation acceleration from voltage spikes. If the 2nd PC never updated their bios from last August or beyond then ya, it's going to have crashes and poor performance on everything. There is more to performance than just a graphics card.

On my benchmark with a 4080 super it doesn't look bad at all. People already put it side by side with world and wilds shown to be better. Both in physics and textures. Specially on the models.

When you have people PURPOSELY make the textures low, make a 4k video and then claim "IT LOOKS BAD NO ONE BUY" doesn't really instill confidence that those people should be taken seriously.

On my 4090 @ all maxed @ 4K 120fps (dlss fgen). Sharp as ♥♥♥. Also added reshade lumisharp (at ~2.1) because I like it even sharpen (I add it to every game)

It also doesn't help Wilds graphics look like it's last gen stuff which isn't a bad thing but you would expect a game with last gen graphics to at least perform better on a wider range of hardware but sadly Wilds doesn't & the whole Wilds is simulating stuff isn't a good excuse because game's have been doing this stuff for decades and Wilds legit bottlenecks the best of the best CPUs.

Judging from how it looks on PS5, it's the farthest thing from low quality. Gaslighting doesn't suddenly change the situation on each individual build people have on PC gaming.

5000 series was already reported to have severe issues. People who play World of Warcraft are crashing with that card. Terrible example to use.

So I provide WHY that could be happening because intel messed up(and fixed it to what we know) and retorted to that shows me you know nothing of gaming set-ups. You just want rage bait.

That's the catch with these "influencers." They have to walk the fine line between honest criticism and corpo shilling. If they don't, no more review copies or partnerships.

You mentioned the 5000 series and I gave a response to the 5000 series. I responded to another person as to why performance could be a severe issue from the 13th/14th generation intel motherboards.

Do you only read whats replied to you? because if you do then that explains a lot of your responses being half baked.

I didn't play the most recent beta but I played the previous one. With my specs performance and visuals were both great. Not sure what people are going on about lol. I only have a 3080Ti.

I know. I watched his review. I really like him but I realize he just can't, for whatever reason, bring himself to really criticize MH.

But even still his review made the game seem super easy. He said that the seikrat is super powerful in it's ability to just pick you up from being knocked down. Also in it's ability to heal and sharpen and that he doesn't know the maps because the seikrat just takes him to the monster.

Dude the game on performance looks terrible and the majority of console gamers will use performance mode to get as close to 60fps as possible, Wilds on PS5 doesn't look good unless it's locked at 30fps with drops into the 25-28fps when more than a single large monster is in the area.

Sure, but I also linked a person with a 4080. Game still looks bad.

Edit: Also, I have no problem if you think the game looks good. I just have higher standards I guess.

it isn't a strawman because most time I see people complain here, it's almost always a 4+ year old set-up.

assuming a setup is 20 years old, if it runs every 2025 game just fine except for Wilds, then Wilds is the problem, not the setup.
