Yeah, it's pretty rough. I was watching Rurikhan's review and while I really like him I was listening to him praise the graphics while what he was showing on screen looked terrible. And he has a 7900XTX. It's going to be bad for the people on 'normal' rigs.
Look up "Strawman"
People are upset because the visuals don't match the performance. Here is another 2025 release as an example.

it isn't a strawman because most time I see people complain here, it's almost always a 4+ year old set-up.
It looks bad even on modern hardware.
On my benchmark with a 4080 super it doesn't look bad at all. People already put it side by side with world and wilds shown to be better. Both in physics and textures. Specially on the models.
When you have people PURPOSELY make the textures low, make a 4k video and then claim "IT LOOKS BAD NO ONE BUY" doesn't really instill confidence that those people should be taken seriously.
1. PC got better FPS then the second one 1440 p
2. PC got worse FPS and Crashes 1440p
some clipping / ghosting problems also
i think this says all about bad coding and performence is random, like u play a game of luck
also its trash performence
wait for 1 day or the weekend cause if no fix , no buy and END of MHWilds
We have youtube. I also have a 7900XT rig. I watched Rurikhan's review. He has a 7900XTX. I've seen benchmarks with 5090s. It all looks pretty bad.

Better FPS can be caused due to the 13th/14th motherboards from intel. Be it Raptor or Meteor because of the degregation acceleration from voltage spikes. If the 2nd PC never updated their bios from last August or beyond then ya, it's going to have crashes and poor performance on everything. There is more to performance than just a graphics card.
