What source do you have? You base this just because there's an 8 month difference when the game allready had 8 mill owners in may ? :D

I didn't make a claim about one platform outselling the other. You did.

You said that "Considering most of world's player base was on console andd most of rise's playerbase was on Switch, I would think otherwise ;)"

I simply asked for a source.

well ill take a stab in the dark here and say console sales might still have been higher for world since the monster hunter franchise was pretty much only on console its not too hard to say that the fanbase already had a console to play it on since the pc release came out 7months later. and we all know monster hunter fans are not ones to go without their game. usually always a day one buy
i feel like people sometimes forget this isn't a first person shooter, 30 fps is more than managable

if you dont like it, play performance mode or get a good pc to get both fps and nice graphics

just enjoy the gameplay

Imagine settling for 30 fps when even 60 fps isnt even the norm and barely playable

Human eye can't see more than 24 FPS anyway.

I can follow that logic. I believe that PC sales ended up being more simply because World become way more popular once the game got 'fixed' on PC and people upgraded their hardware. I also know people who migrated from console to PC with the quickness once it launched on PC.

Also Capcom back in 2021 said by 2023 they expect half their sales to be PC sales and only grow so there main focus will be shifting from console to PCs, so even if World sold more at launch on the console it doesn't really matter because Capcom saw there game's will be selling more on PC as time went on.

So I'm willing to bet World probably sold more on PC as time went on and probably the same with Rise given how Capcom made a official announcement about shifting their focus to PC over consoles given that thoses were their best selling game's.

If we were talking about the beta performance, yeah that was abysmal

I cant really comment about the current console status since i dont have one,

I was able to pull around 30fps at medium setting there and the hate capcom got was more than justified for optimization being basically non-existent

But I also believe the people who now complain about the performance and graphics, have not launched the benchmark a single time

I went from 30fps medium graphic settings in the beta, to around 60fps high graphic settings on the benchmark

and i "only" have a Rtx 3060ti and a Ryzen 7 5700G, while most people who still complain about it have 40-series graphic cards and a way better rig than me in general

Capcom has optimized the game alot since the beta, alot of you just dont want to admit it and would rather die on this hill
Do you get commissions for selling consoles? What a joke,

https://gamalytic.com/game/582010

This source shows 8.3m STEAM sales with 15.6m OWNERS which i guess might be from purchasing on other sites and redeeming on steam or linking on steam or something?

This is just world, if that 15.6m is NOT including consoles it means 15.6m of the ~21M sold are PC? Wich is a pretty clean ~75% if im reading this right.

Also consoles are dead exclusives are tyranny. Free the games. Justice for Bloodborne etc.
