You need to install the RE Framework mod to get the game running with 32:9 or even 21:9 because even that isn't properly supported.
yo what monitors at that aspect ratio exist?? how do you play with that thing? with goat eyes?

do you roll your chair back really far? I sort of get the appeal but I think I'll stick with my single 4k monitor
On a 32:9 monitor, the main game and interface stays in the center, just like on any other screen—you just get a broader peripheral view with a monitor like this.

Not really, you sit in the middle and have your eyes cover the full 165° view they can do. You do focus on the middle, but you know when something "flashes next to you" and you turn your head around to see what it was? Thats the benefit to it. Faster reaction to more fieldview. Als the immersion is amazing with not having to be locked to a square. Its literals the whole horizon for your eyes. If you had it one time, you can not go back, trust me.

Yeah 32:9 is superior… assuming the game supports or you can mod it, otherwise it really sucks. Take Elden ring for example: you have to mod it for support and play offline only otherwise its limited to 16:9 which is akin to CRT 4:4 on a 32:9.
can we get ban using REFramework in Wilds ? I use it in Rise with no issue for the 32:9 aspect ratio but Wilds may have a reinforced AntiCheat system

ultra widescreen is basically an overly expensive marketing gimmick that has extremely minor benefits and causes significantly more problems than it's worth.
Its not a gimmick, Its definitely a superior experience. The problem is the lack of support at times, not the setup itself.

I used to believe that too, and then I bought one out of curiosity. It blew me away and I'm a total convert now.

I used one for over a year. Spending hours modding games to get them to support it was never worth it, no matter how nice the corners of my eyes get treated. Even on games it works instantly on it's just not that great.

The game that made me do this as my common default was HAWX. The arcade jet-fighter.
Since then i could never go back to normal 16:9 (except there was no other way).
