Gamestar review (german) makes the right choice and tells people to adjust brightness against any bluryness
The review by Gamestar makes everything right and straight up tells people "if you see any blur in the game that is not the weather, adjust your brightness.". Making sure that user-errors do not effect the games visual experience and create false feedback based on missconfiguration on the users end.

And for these complaining about texture, there will be a huge day 1 patch for PC addressing that (settings depending).

Its stated in that review. They even tell about performance numbers and their experiences with PC hardware. The benchmark is truly a relateable experience when it comes to performance.

I do hope game forces you to adjust those settings when booting up, so more people can actually have a chance to tailor up their game.

Yeah i agree, letting people play the beta or benchmark without forcing them to these adjustments was a huge mistake.

It's the same picture.
Adjusting overall brightness and luminosity won't save you
Just go watch Digital Foundry's video on this and don't be a Capcom shill

And i recommend to watch the review at that timestamp that very nice shows the difference.
Some people will never be happy sure, but these can just sit this out. Most of all will be and are happy with what we get and can adjust.

Blunty is shill now? He had some good takes about performance and MTX. And said non-stop that Frame-gen is wrong and shouldn't be used to get 60 fps.

A reviewer who doesn't know what they're talking about, offering placebo fixes, vs. a graphics technical analysis reviewer who shows you possible fixes
Who should I trust? Hmmmm...

Well since this is a game with the main focus on the gameplay itself and its mechanics, for me its the game reviewer. Gameplay & fun >>>> eye candy.

reviewing a game like this
with a major debate about "visual fidility vs reequired hardware"/performance isues
needs to include an analysis of that topic
ineeds to factor in problems with it, if those exist
needs to warn potential buyers what to expect
with(out) framegen and/or upscaling
hardware, settings, fps
just my 2 ct

Your brightness settings will not fix a game being upscaled from 540p to 1080p.

Seriously, now they're trying to divert it to being a monitor issue.

In fairness the washed out look of the game does it no favours. However, I have seen footage of the "corrected" version that people like to post and while it improves the look in some scenes it also crushes the blacks in others.

The blur however is not going to be fixed by changing brightness. That's 100% copium.

I can not wait for the release when one can enjoy the game and nothing of these rants matter for one, with just enjoying the gameplay and fun.
