Wilds being "easy" is ok
These games were never about being the hardest games to exist. Monster hunter games have always been about having fun hunting monsters. Just because streamers and reviews say it is an easy game doesn't hold much water for true monster hunter enjoyers.

If you are saying Kirin is not hard then what you are saying is that Wilds must be dead simple because the reviewer who thought Kirin was hard found Wilds to be no challenge.
Kirin wasnt hard untill HR 49, which once again, was a requirement to get past 49.

It was a tempered kirin that wrecked everyone. Not regulair kirin.

They didnt even get to the hard part if they fought just kirin from the optionial quests. Thats why I asked: Why didnt they mention Black Diablos?.

Heck, I can even mention vaal hazaak cause everyone usually carts to that monstie due to efluv halfing your HP.

Yeah, so you are saying Wilds is a dead simple. Got it.
I'm a beginner at this franchise and when I played the Beta, it felt very hard to me.
But I think the biggest adversary was not the monsters but the controls and combat system.
Not to mention if performance isn't crisp, you are struggling.

I disagree. I have always hated easy games since I started gaming in the NES days and everything was difficult. No matter how mechanically good a game may be, if it is easy and lacks difficulty options or hard endgame content; I will hate it.

So you hate all modern games?
If they are easy and lack difficulty options, yes. Overcoming difficult challenges is more than half the fun for me.

The story is, and always have been easy. At end game it always becomes hard for veteran players.

New players are gonna cart here in LR, just like they carted to Tobi and Anja in LR.

And besides that...it is still low and high rank...no master rank.
Not yet.........
MH games don't release with Master/G rank hunts. They release on a DLC
For the idiots that say every monster hunter game has been easy, obviously never got past the beginning hunts or midgame hunts. Every Monster Hunter game is at medium to hard, depending on your skill level and equipment loadout, all the way to downright impossible if you suck at the game and you are fighting endgame hunts.

Reviewer says game is too easy compared to world

You: Everyone is wrong!!!!!!!!

It's only hard if you make it hard. As I said in another post.

You can blow up
Put to sleep
Debilitate
Poison
Remove lethality.
Debuff
Trap
Paralyze
Use the envirorment
Use other monsters
OR call in support from your fellow players with quests and or SoS

You make it hard by choosing to make it harder on you, by being the only target. Of course a big hulking monster is going to give you a challenge if you don't us the mass amount of arsenal and tools/utilities the developers put in your disposal.

Do you know how many people use demon drugs/stamina drinks and general right food buffs for specific ssituations in MH games? The numbers aren't high, I can assure you of that and why is that? They have to go out of their way to farm the mats and most people, just don't wanna do that, but those that do? They are the people killing the monster quicker than you can unsheath your weapon most of the time.

Wide range 5 and mushroom mancher ftw.

Yes, a majority of players who think these games are hard do not use the options for them during hunts. It's very sad to see players just ignore all the gameplay systems, and they are the loudest vocal minority in attempting to tell others how to play the game. Very sad.

Spoken like a true Tourist.
Think people also have to remember they give you damage chunking with the wound system. Those wounds do a ton of damage and you get so many of them per monster that it isn't even funny. Utilizing those, is of course going to make the game easier than previous MH's.

It's pretty obvious, that Capcom made WIlds even more casual than World to bring in new players again.

Which is fine. The veteran players will get challenged when they add additional difficulty modifiers or new monsters. Hooking other players not used to the franchise is more important (Imo) because it grows the community. It worked for Elden ring, so why not MH?
Bow coating don't need a stupid changes, same ♥♥♥♥ with bowgun basic ammo. not saying bow coating back then were awfully limited, could've just increase the amount from 50 to 80 or just go 100 max stack (power coat)/ from 20 stack to 50 max (close range coat) and its resource to craft more, for bowgun ammo, best addition in early pre-5th gen was Normal S lv1 being built inside bowgun itself are fine QoL but making basic ammo like pellet, pierce & normal s lv2 infinite in MHWilds is rather.. unnecessary changes.

I agree, it's sad that the game is evolving in this direction but the majority of players prefer this type of evolution. It's clear when you consider the respons on this post.

We just have to accept it and move on.
