So MH Wilds is a big fail now?

Everyone in reddit, steam forum, youtube, twitch everywhere talking about how easy the game is and it's literally 5 minutes of hunts all around, massive refunds happening right now according to them (?)

Grind is no longer exist, you kill one monster and you can craft the whole set and weapon without needing to farm that monster again (?)

Nothing to do in game, your game session ends in 40 hours. "You'll be crafting everything, doing all the quests incluıding side quests, having all the decos etc in total of 40 hours."

Performance is garbage on PC according to everyone.

What are your thoughts? MH Wilds was a big fail and already losing players?

I will decide that for myself after I played the game. I won't trust ppl of Reddit or Internet. Lot of them are hysterical and overreacting.
We will see 1-2 weeks after release when ppl write comments in the shop page.

I mean 40 hours is good for a AAA game most AAA aren't even 5-10 hours. I don't get the complaint here.

Some legit critism is how they used a poor engine for this type of game and its the reason for the preformance issues, no amount of optimization is going to fix the engine sadly.

Naw, is whats been ruining games for years: casuals. Casuals is where the money is, so games will cater to them, its why mmorpgs went to crap as well, world of warcraft brought the casuals in, and now every mmorpg is just a joke because of it. MH is just the next series that is going to become mediocre due to catering to casuals. But I mean they are a business, they wanna make money so they going to cater to the widest group they can.. well, if they are smart anyway.

Western devs lately are actually idiots, because they would rather cater to the 1% of woke people while pushing away most of the other 99% by doing so. As their activism and virtue signaling is more important to them than the game being successful and them keeping their job. Its why AAA western games have been failing, they refuse to cater to the 99% majority then freak out when their game bombs.

yer the franchise has been going down a dark path for awhile now and its easy to see ! i mean when the re released mon hun tri to the west on the wiiu form japan they literally nerfed the monsters ! why you might ask!? well its mainly due to the western market being dominated by children ! capcom also thinks the older western game`rs are idiots lol! and with the push on mobile phone games and the likes its clear to see they want some of the pokemon spot light and money !

and all the paid actors of content creators are spitting garbage out the same way they all said diablo 4 was amazing and ground breaking for its genre only to a year after release put out videos saying how bad it was and how bad blizzard is lolololollolol

Nothing against you, but It's honestly a fruitless effort to try and gauge actual player sentiment over the game based off of forum posts and youtube vids. People are gonna vent and worry about what they don't know fully, myself included. Discourse is more engaging then neutral discussion so it will always seem more prevalent.

Regardless, I think it is a safe bet this game will succeed, and people will overall have fun. Beta was fun, aggregate review scores are good.
