2)see tent
3)for story, i suppose, its a shame i do agree on that front
4)there is? you see how it worked in the beta
the only issue i actually see if the tedious multiplayer, thats the only thing that actually has an impact upon the player, not an abritary dinner table or special fancy house that means nothing and you go into once for tutorial and then never again.
Ironically people were praising all the small details and 'simulations' in the game. Seems all that talk about simulations and details was a bunch of smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that the game needs serious optimizations and is in a pretty poor state.
Yeah, i know its in the tent...thats not where it should be.
Alright, im not gonna start ranting, i need to see for myself, but the reviews seems to have amde it clear, this game is SHORT!
29 monsters(28 actually), a really short story, and no endgame grind, not really. Im kinda conflicted, it sounds REALLY barebones.
i get it was a fun little cutscene and all, but it's not like its gone, you still got cooking, just with better QoL to it.
That is such a weird thing to claim, multiplayer has never been easier and now we can even properly play the story together like we couldnt in world because of the cutscene locks.
Like genuinely its NEVER been easier in a normal monhun game, Just invite people to the session, start and environment link or post a quest and they can join you in either that specific quest or roaming around doing monster quest after monster quest in the open world.
I honestly think the Devs were rushed, i think the base game is even more "basic" because they wanted to have a solid base to then add on to when they have more time to add all the extras like a gathering hub, house, cantine, etc. with the expansion. My guess is the corporate types at the top wanted to push the game out as fast as possible so the devs limited themselves to these basics, so that they can put most of the stuff you're used to in the expansion and you're glad to have it back. Only real proof i have for this tho is the fact that reviewers are saying they pulled another MHRise with the final boss.
Why does Capcom INSIST it has to be through links, codes, instances....THEY SUCK.
Yeah, its the easiest MH game...but compared that to all other coop games...and its easily the worst ever made. Why cant they get this right. It also tends to disconnect, atleast World did, failed to connect etc. We have very fast and stable internet in this house, so it isnt us.
1. You CAN invite via steam, that IS a feature.
2. Share online sessions exist you can make them and join them just like in World
3. IT is incredibly simple, you just, select the person you want to invite on your friends list and then hit invite, then if you want to go on an expedition together you go to the panel for the shared session and invite people to go on an expedititon "Environment link"
You dont NEED codes and you CAN use steam, you just dont seem to know how the online system even works
If its 100% freeroam, and STABLE...i'll shut up and be happy. It sounds like its trickier than that, but maybe im wrong.
