Why doesn't the Deluxe Edition(s) include the ability to start playing early?
Most games include this purchasable option these days, and for good reason. This feels like a notable exclusion. It's glaring omissions of features like this that keep Monster Hunter firmly in the AA tier of games, as opposed to reaching it's true potential.

Do the devs just want their game to be subpar on the market?

You just CAN'T play before the game is ready so no,no game ever did that.
You however can pay extra to prevent other from playing at release.
Just not this time. :steamsalty:

Neither do you, not that i agree with anything OP has to say. But a lot of us here without mouse icons are waiting for the poopstorm to pass. Waiting on Reviews, and stuff. Im still on the fence wether to pre buy it on Cdkeys or not and which version.. I find it ridiculous they would put the elf ears on the most expensive bundle. (ree)

If you can't draw the line between my thread and the reason I haven't purchased it, there's nothing I can say that will help you understand.
There's no playing early. If a game includes early access, that is the actual release date. Then a few days later you get a discount. That is how that works marketing-wise. Don't be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deceived by marketing tactics.

If you want to argue semantics, Reddit is over there. actually if it comes out early its actually not actually early its just the actual release date actually if you think about it technically its just the regular release date its not actually early you're technically just being tricked by marketing
bait post next question

Bait what? I'm saying the game should have a thing that other games have. Is that really that unbelievable?

Wish it was semantics. It's not at all sadly.

What does launch really mean anyway because the game isn't done they add updates so technically the release date is early since we're playing the game before its complete

I bought the most expensive batch just for those. I've always wanted the option to play as a Wyverian, and now I kind of get that chance. I'm excited and completely ready to play, just gotta wait. I know I will struggle to get 25 FPS for a while, but I've got a GPU upgrade coming in the mail soon for it.
That's what beta tests are for, you get to play the game a bit before release so you can properly gauge whether or not you want to buy it. Deluxe Editions nowadays are purely for bonus items and rarely do you get a game now that's like "here you go, you get the game an extra day early because you spent $30 more than everyone else." Also it really won't kill you to wait another 3 or 4 days for release, hell I've been waiting for this to drop ever since I bought World (I missed out on Rise) and I'm still fine waiting the extra days because I know that means they're properly taking care of the game and polishing it.
