Report a translation problem
ACG spoke about it in his review. He said during story segments or cutscenes, the team was kicked back to their camp while the host watched the cutscene. He specifically also said that Capcom said this wouldn't be the case, so he is unsure if it was a bug.

Thats a real shame. I love playing with my friends, but I cant force them to spend half their time in SP if they don’t want to.
True. If this is confirmed, it's pretty disappointing. One of MHR's advantages was precisely that they changed this.
Rise and older MH's seperated the Village Quest, and the Hub Quest lines.
Its crazy if they didnt improve on the multiplayer aspect and just....gave us laggy ass Hub areas....
