It feels weird if he really didn't make it. I'm hoping he's still in there somewhere, because he would be perfect for the desert map. Diablos have been in pretty much every game since MH1, hasn't he?

If he isn't in the base game, I'm hoping he shows up through a TU... or maybe Monoblos. We haven't seen Monoblos in forever.

Same reason World had monsters from the older games, alot of people didnt play them.

Alot of people will play Wilds, and never touch World. Not that hard to understand.

The reason they WONT show up, is because this is a new continent, so lorewise, it makes so sense.

Wilds isnt on a new continent, it's in the Old World. A majority of World's roster is also from the old world. The reason they dont show up is because the devs genuinely dont want them to.

You could not make Diablos dumbed-down enough for the casuals Wilds is explicitly targeting, without gutting the monster. The only hope is that its added with the c.2026 Master Rank expansion...

This game is shaping up to be MH4 2, so we gotta wait for the master rank expansion to get diablos, I guess.
