My palico will be going meow meow.
I'll never hear it speak since I'm gonna be using my palico from the beta and he is set to meow meow language

I think I'll let them talk during story stuff, but when I'm done with it, they're going back to meowing. Personally, I'm not really a fan of palicos talking like people.
Felyne language is still an option unlike Monster Hunter Language for the player character and npcs :(

It's in the character creator I believe

It's all good. I missed the part where you can turn off the auto exploring for the Seikret myself in the first beta.

Not just there, you can change it in the settings too, iirc.

Cringed.
Good thing we have the option to keep it at "meow".
i like it nia !!
I like my Palico to speak only native language Meaow Meaow

I think its fine, purely preference, i like that it gives them a bit more character and makes them more partner like than pure "pet" status
idk it feels different
anyways thanks capcom for having cat language option
I think it's one of those things that people "forget". They could always talk, but they never had actual VO until now. I suppose it's a similar kind of thing that people were not sold on in Rise with the Hunter barking out "THIS IS THE END" every....single...True charged slash...

But yeah, you can turn it off. Props for choosing the MOST GRATING voices possible for them to really sell it, but yeah, I'm probably punting the cat into next week.

Cringed too.
First time I realised they can speak, when I was around in the wilderness, and suddenly someone talked. But I looked around and nobody was there.
Then I realised my Palico spoke - quickly found the option and switched to Catish. :D

Blessed that they can finally talk during cutscenes and we can understand them.

Cursed that the voice options are "cute loli" or "Garfield" with no other tones

Praying that they include lots of cat puns in their dialogue like the good old days.
