Reviews say too easy and only 15 hour story

Seen multiple reviews calling out this game for being too easy and the story being super short. Wondering what ya'll think of this. I'm on the fence if I want to get this at launch or wait for a sale.

Edit: Gyatt Dayum this thread blew up. Too many people to reply to individually but thanks for all the replies you all have given me things to think about. Going to think it over and decide one way or the other.

They are talking about low and med rank. Master/G rank isn't in the game yet as usual.

Sounds about average for all the games ever tbh, not sure the problem here?

We're talking about people that has never really played MH game's before and their just breezing past all the fights without failing a single time solo in less than 15min in every single fight like the hardest content in the game end game stuff their still blowing past it like it's nothing.

NA dude that's even high rank stuff like these people are saying even the hardest of fights in the game only last 10-15mins solo on average.

Wait, wha? 10-15 minute "Solo" fight? That's pretty common. Team fights would only tack on like 4-5 more minutes due to the HP bloat. Have these people played MH before?

No that's them getting the base game no extra gear and just playing it like it's normal, that's why the difficulty keeps getting brought up in the reviews because it was that easy.

Hopefully it was made purposely easy for reviewers but if it wasn't it's going to be a little disappointing which I'll probably just mod it to be harder since I play solo almost all the time's.

Yeah this sounds sus tho, people with no experience don't blast through the mh games that easy - and there will absolutely be more than 15 hours worth of content here, maybe the story is 15 hours which is about average, but the mh games open up when the story ends

What they need to do is have someone who is new to MH review the game and sum up their feels. Veterans are going to do exactly like they did in rise/world and just blast through the game and say how easy it is. Remember when world launched and there was only two complaints of difficulty? I sure do. Anajanath and Nergigante and Nergi was primarily because people needed his horns for the armor, or the gem later on. Anjanath was one shotting people with his super easy to read charge move xD.

When review outlets let newbies review games, gamers shout from the rooftops. When they get people experienced to review, gamers still cry and complain.

You guys are making Reddit look reasonable. Have some self-awareness.
