Should probably also mention my headset is a RIG-800 Pro, going off memory.
Imma look it up let me a second, ive heard about it more than once, theres probably a fix. Could you describe precisely what happens to your keyboard and mouse, a simple disconnect or maybe they dont recognize inputs ?
"
Unplug absolutely everything else from your USB ports: external drives, webcams, other mice, other keyboards, phone charger, network adapter, USB hubs, monitor, etc. until you have only the keyboard and mouse plugged into the computer.
Then verify that the keyboard and mouse are working correctly with no disconnects. If they are still failing, then try just one or the other (I know this is a PITA) to isolate the bad device.
If you get disconnects with each device even when only 1 is connected, you probably have a problem with your motherboard or maybe drivers and you'll need to contact the manufacturer or your work help-desk.
Once you prove that the keyboard and mouse are working, you can start adding back devices one by one until you find the problematic device -- replace it.
It is also possible that you have a bad USB hub, so try using a different hub if you can. "
or maybe
"
Sounds like too much power draw causing the hub to drop out an then recovers itself.
Move the power play onto a separate hub. USB 2.0 minimum,USB 3 recommend, QC or PD preferred. Should fix the issue 👍🏻" (He was talking about a logitech usb hub but that would make sense for the built in usb ports i guess)
Okay so thats kinda the same issue, does it happen on other performance heavy games ?
sorry I'm a complete noob at PC stuff normally LOL
I dont really think so, maybe if the bug happens in the benchmark that is on the store page available to download, you could try that out in there. And if it doesnt happen it probably means its fixed. You could also wait for release and get the game using other means just to be sure you'll be able to play, if you know what i mean lel. Ive done that before.
Usually MH games also have Demos available on release day, but idk about this one.
Thank you :) I'll give you a profile award now!
No problems !
Dont quote me on that but theres a good chance it was driver issues with the beta or smtn like that and now you're good.
Ive heard about the Logitech software having compatibility issues with some games too, thats maybe what happened.
Thing is, look it up, theres documented instances of games messing up with Logitech hardware lmao.
Its just that bad, my friend keeps buying it and always had issues. I even had to micro solder in his mouse kek
Its pretty highend stuff, but the normie type. (Made by 13y olds in the red star country probably so theres that.)
I use a 15usd noname mouse, an old blueswitch keyboard that isnt even available on maketplaces anymore and sum noname storebought headset.
Ive had them for years. Before i even got my new computer.
