"Monster Hunter Wilds will be enhanced for PS5 Pro with a patch on release day."
You have a source saying the day 1 patch is live on digital?
Early review doesn't mean release day. In fact, the launch patch i guarantee will be a different number than review patch.
Your the lil bro. You have 3 years of growing to do to catch up. I have what current hardware is available, not you wishing on some star in the future.
Lol, you aren't going to download 75gb, launch the game and have to close it to download a patch, day one patches don't work that way. If they planned a patch after the game went gold (Which was like a week and a half ago.) Then they can't patch the physical copy. The digital on the other hand can be reuploaded with the new code/content for download on that day. Hence, why the early reviewer said "Performance was better than beta." which would only happen with a patch.
Um yes? That's literally how every live service game is... Go download ZZZ, the run the game. Watch it update again. Then again when you launch it.
MHW is a live service game.
*Ok the multiplayer part* make it live service IMO
I believe you can play offline as well. so d/c single player not the case.
again if you are playing online it becomes so.
Singleplayer offline sure.
Yes. The game will require you to have the latest version to play online. It will have frequent event updates, patches. That's live service.
The first update will happen sometime in Spring, feature an additional monster, Mizutsune, Event Quests, and more.
The second update will come in Summer and feature another monster fight as well as more Event Quests.
If you are playing offline you won't get those... Those PLANNED ANNOUNCED EVENTS as well as more incoming literally make the game live service.
If it had events and stuff you were able to participate in through timed events with unique weapons, gear, and patches. YES.
