The clutch claw... not so much. Tenderise sucked as a mechanic, but it has led to Wounds, which so far seems cool as a mechanic.
And that's what I think is so excellent about Wilds (so far), is this dev team are CLEARLY listening to the community.
They've heard what people generally enjoy and are building upon it.
That's such a rarity these days.
I'm still expecting SOME multiplayer clunk, it is Monster Hunter after all. But I'm hopeful.
I'm one of the rarities that hopes I can turn hitstop off though, I really liked the no-stop beta xD, don't hate me.
People clutching random items doesn't really defeat gathering. There's too much lag on it and the best gathering spots tightly pack together 10 items. It's meant to grab items useful to buff yourself while chasing down a monster running through areas. Or to pick up one off items while doing that.
im not saying to have it at start but earned later in the game and have a cooldown could work , its a rly fun and dynamic mechanic towards the game and with the right cooldown could be a great asset
