If you are a fan from a previous MH game and you have spare cash, you can get the upper tier editions for the bling, but if this is your first MH game, just get the basic cheapest one.
You are not missing anything - it's all cosmetics. The thing is, e.g. MH World had SO MANY great cosmetic options already in game that the DLC items were basically for super fans - you are not missing anything. And even if you like any specific DLC cosmetic, you can always buy it at a later date.
The game is gonna be good. It's just like MH World but better. And fresh. The only gripe is the performance right now, but that can, and probably will, be fixed soon, because already Wilds is shaping up to bring many more players than World and Capcom will have to make sure their game can be played by the maximum ammount of players possible ASAP.
The more expensive editions are just a "Thank you devs" patronage packages that give you something in return. Nothing pay-to-win or pay-to-not-look-like-brown-sewege-dweller like other games. Just more.
What is in the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe editions is not worth the cash even if they were super amazing cosmetics. And they are not. 110 is nearly 50% more than the game asking price of 70. For what ?
Until the Deluxe includes a DLC or two sometimes in the future, if you just wanna play the game, go for the basic one and don't look back.
That's not a big reason for a lot of people, but I start over alot because I enjoy the gearing process more from the beginning, than I do grinding endgame for something small.
Played World for 1100+ hours so if Wilds ends up being the same that equals 0,082€ per hour played. that's a good deal.
MH world shows you can look dope with some effort and time
