I recently picked up Rise on sale and been loving the grind for the perfect palico and palamute. I'm surprised at how incredible palamutes look.

When I found out they never used palamutes in another monster hunter game again, I lost interest in the series, lol. No palamutes, no money.

The chocobo rat is not super appealing and I would have preferred a more wolflike palamute mount.

Same here, if they gave a dlc later down the line unlocking palamute I'll definitely buy . Till then I won't bother.

Size wise the seikret makes sense. The palamut is just as idiotic as the new crawling animation...

This; Prowler was absolutely my favorite weapon it was a great challenge and just a fun play style, used to this happening though lol.
