I am a noob for playing dual blades?
In worlds i play the hammer first, but after a while a switched to DB. They just clicked with me. Same in Rise and now in Wilds Beta.....i feel so slow with the other weapons.

But are DB easy mode? I feel like i need the movement or get stomped to hard from most monsters.

Use whatever weapon you want, unless it is longsword.

Nah, there are no actual noob weapons, just meme weapons (really just longsword, but... doot hammer too I guess).

And it's not easy mode. On trash monster it's easy to abuse your generous damage and doge windows, but on crazier monsters, you'll struggle to exploit your consistent damage potential because their vuln timings are intense, and if you screw up a dodge you will blink and wake up in a cart lmao.

Kind of like SnS and to a degree lance, you also have to worry about elements and status as it's an important part of DS, so your weapon selection will matter a lot more than most other types.
If you wanna master a new weapon then you can only do it by playing!

I switch weapons every game, sometimes on Expansions as well. If you like dagger go for it!

In MH world I played bow, the expansion I swapped to hammer, in Rise I played light Bow gun mostly.

In previous titles before that I played glaive in MH4U for example xD but in wilds I am going gunlance, maybe side holster a horn I haven't decided on my 2ndary.

Yeah it seems gunlance is going to go from obscurity to one of the most played weapons now lol. And I'm not going to carry two weapons, just two different SnS, maybe a damage one and a status or elemental one.

If it's an option to carry 2 of the same weapon, I may carry 2 gun lances myself. But that wasn't an option in the beta so I'm planning around it just in case 😂

What kinda question is that? Is there a unwritten rulebook im unaware of?

Play whatever you want, Longsword included, your own fun is the only thing that matters.

dont let anyone tell you otherwise, and if they try, block em.
Play what you like, don't let other people ruin the fun.

If you like faster combat look at MH Rise, that game makes you feel like a anima protagonist.

Read his message again.
But can they clap the high lvl end game Monsters? Or what would be the best weapon for that?

Dual blades are for elemental damage, so as long as you do not build for raw, they will clap hard and fast.

All weapons can kill all monsters, period. No weapon is better than the other, some might just be faster because of dps and player skill.

You can finish the entire game with whatever you want.

I got people complaining to me in the beta because I kept exploiting the focus strike to get so much damage. Don't know what I wasn't getting...I figured I was dong it right.

Love dual blades. Dual blades for life

Not at all, a good pair of blades can do some nasty damage
