what controller do you use to play monster hunter? If ur a keyboard and mouse player, ew thats disgusting. you should be ashamed of ur self and pay reparations to every other MH player.

I use a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ps3 controller with a single joy stick that eventually stopped leaking oil whenever i use it. idk why or how, but both joy sticks feel the same. so i dont really care despite having a ps4 when world came out (sold now), and ps5 when ff7-2 came out. still using the ps3 controller to play MH on PC.

On the PS5 Edge controller you can set the triggers to behave like the shoulder buttons, so you just press down a bit (like the shoulder buttons) for them to activate.
I have them set to that unless I'm playing a racing game etc

Its all budged depending. If you have no real limit, i can highly recommend a new trustmaster and you can configure anything to your liking up to the smallest detail.

Yeah, we can't. But I can do Arkveld in like 12 minutes roughly, 14 minutes if the run goes poorly. I beat him plenty of times in the beta. So if the team is timing out at the 20 minute mark and I normally beat him at 12 minutes, then it's gotta be the randoms with particularly low DPS. Heck, at the end of the beta, I ran Arkveld with two friends, one of which who never even faced off against him once before, and has very little MH experience (it's their first MH game and they're an S&S player). We did the fight in 13 minutes.

Randoms are just a different species of bad in the beta. All my runs with them resulted in failures. Either they used the carts like crazy, or their DPS was so low I couldn't offset them.

Mouse and keyboard, is King for this game, being able to hotkey everything so easily

my mouse has 5 thumb buttons also, that i use for Combo attacks,

also 1-0 is very powerful for using items

Yeah my x360 controller died on me not to long ago used that thing for over 10 years. Using a 3rd party xbox controller atm. I could easly play with KB+M but I kinda would rather relax and play it on my bigger screen with a controller.
