Capcom has failed to deliver an open-world game in the RE engine that runs well. They are 0 for 2.
It sounds like you actually don't know what you're talking about here. The RE Engine is the best for corridor based level designs, but trying to force it to do large open world instead, it's no surprise the game engine falls apart.
Its why its better to notname engines after specific games
