Where did you get 25 monsters from? According to the hardcore stans + data miners, this may be the biggest launch yet with supposedly around 44 monsters.
That's of course irrelevant for endgame where they tend to have souped up versions with new gimmicks.
But if you don't know what a monster hunter game is, which seems to be the case, then don't buy it.
Nope. Just speculation. Arkveld structure is similar to zinogre and a new map has some areas, which a huge monster may have caused.
It is just like Gamma looking similar to MH4G (Ultimate) girl. But hey, the entire team responsible for MHWilds (also for MHW) previously worked for MH4G (Nintendo DS), so there must be some connections as Gore Magala appearing in this game.
Ah that makes sense! Thank you for the explaination!
This is datamined stuff and the reason i wouldnt put too much faith into this being 100% confirmed to become real like some people may claim is. Base World had data for Alatreon and Oroshi Kirin, there were videos even saying the future title updates were likely going to be Alatreon and Oroshi Kirin. Now when did Alatreon actually come out? Post Iceborne Expansion before the final Title Update, more then 2 years after World. And Oroshi Kirin? Never.
So take anything datamined with a huge grain of salt, especially since it was from a beta build that we don't really know when in development it was made. Everyone just assumes that it was torwards the end of development since it came out torwards the end of last year. But they don't seem to keep in mind that they probably also playtested it for a while and this is the same build that was available at Gamescom (I'm fairly certain they even confirmed so in an interview).
I'm not saying all the data is useless, but you can't rely on it as much as some people will claim. Now a leak we do know that is somewhat concerning is that apparently the Playstation achievement that you get for "hunting All Gold Crown size Monsters" (For those unfamiliar that is tha largest possible size each monster can be) and that one is given to you after 26 Goldcrowns. However there's Monsters that flatout don't have Goldcrowns since they can only be one size. So this Achievement is by many seen as an indicator for a low Monster count when it doesnt neccessarily have to be.
Not true with how they are doing deco crafting.
Care to expain it further?
For what it's worth, Capcom did say they are aware of this being a problem and think it'll be different this time, so who knows.
So they can increase the hardware requirements to run the game.
In world the vast majority of monsters at their exit were all very similar, lizards, dinosaurs, dragons, there were not many species, and in the endgame most of them did not pose a threat, leaving the challenge to the 4 or 5 "elder dragons" and that's it.
wilds is more varied in species, it depends on how challenging the monsters are in the postgame we will see if it is more worth it or not.
MHTri: 18
MHP3: 40
MH4: 51
MHG: 71
MHW: 30 (Before TUs) 36 (after TUs
MHR: 46(?) less than this because Apexes are counted for whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason
MHWilds: 25 confirmed, possibly 29 after TUs
chat, i think this game is actually nostalgiabaiting Tri.
world didn't have a *lot* of monsters by monster hunter standards, and had awful variety on top of that
P3rd had better variety than world until iceborne
I really really hope that's the case.
