Anyone know when the pre download is if there is one? Also what time will the game be playable EST? I hope as soon as the clock goes from the 27th to 28th which would be 12am midnight.

It's marked as releasing on the 27TH for me, so it's likely midnight release at the latest for EST which would be 9PM PST, and thus the 27th release date.

It's also a japanese game, so it's likely it'll release at their weird time (well, weird for us) which if I remember correctly is around 4 or 5PM PST.

Correct. Just as Dragon's Dogma did, and all major Capcom releases. They'll release a world map here soon which shows release times, but it'll be around 5pm pacific time.

Pretty sure the beta here went live at 10PM EST. So maybe we can assume the full release will copy that and the game will go live at 10PM EST on Febuary 27th. Which is basically midnight of Febuary 28th for most of NA.

Same. The last time I had something like that was preOrdering the Switch at Gamestop. No one wanted to chat except for the employees, no one else looked happy. Granted, they looked like extremely stereotypical Nintendo fans, and I think three of them were scalpers.

And the whole point people care is because if it's not a midnight release, it could well release 10 AM on the 28th, whichi s a whole lot later, or late in the evening like with many Japanese games which would be even worse.

"Basically midnight" means it's nearly going live near the midnight of February 28th for most people in North America. It'll only be an hour or two away from midnight for most North American'ers. That's kind of why I said "which is basically midnight for most of NA". Did you not read the "NA" part of the sentence? Because "NA" stands for North America, as in people in the North America.

Though I have a sneaking suspicion you made this butthurt post of yours because I pointed out in another thread that you were wrong about preloads being the defacto steam experience, You were trying to lecture someone for not knowing about them, using the excuse they're the default and everyone should know all about them, when they aren't the default, and are rarely used by developers on Steam here.
