They are using the clutch claw, but not in a way that its used like in World. they can use it to grab supplies in the area without approaching. the claw in World is used to latching onto monsters.
ah yes! it IS the slinger, my bad, i was dead wrong lol. appreciate the clarification. i generalised the whole Gizmo as a clutch claw.
making them both wear felyne masks and every time the monster fell over i would get blown away by their stupid bombs but it was too funny i still never unequipped them even when i got pissed off at it
making me want to play the game all over again for the nth time..
Firing the hook at-will (at monsters, instead of grapple-bugs) was CC-specific behavior though.
Boulders and screamers didn't have an action context (Rise though?), had to be shot down with ammo or knocked down with some other damage. Very few, if any (forest central boulder), in range for melee or even the CC shot.
What's better than one cat dancing? TWO cats dancing!
Pretty sure that could knock boulders down with its 1 point of damage. Longer range than the claw too, especially with the arc.
Ka-nyan-bomb makes everything better. Or exploded!
