Like you're totally in the zone and they suddenly just pop up and freeze time with a text box, completely throwing off your timing.
A proper tutorial would walk you through doing particular things, but instead we just get the interrupting text-box in the middle of combat. I guarantee almost everyone just mashed B to get rid of every single one ASAP because they're a liability, and probably got smacked by the monster because the "tutorial" threw them off. And new players wouldn't understand that the tutorial messages are recorded in the hunter guide accessible from the start menu... so they'd miss them the first time then never learn the things written in them.
not sure I want to share the secret it either because this forum has been annoying af nothing but trolls and bait replies every time I posted anything
You have the option to have all the controller imputs in the upper right corner to know where you can take your combos. So you know your inputs.
And then there's the arena where you you tweak what the "dummy" is doing and a lot of other things to really learn your weapon.
And the Weapon guide now isn't just a list of combos using weird legends, it instead explains all the different weapon mechanics, modes, special things and what comboes into what and what the things do. It's perfect.
Capcom games do not have good tutorials. They are a "you discover how to play by yourself" type games.
