Oddly specific question with family sharing
So, I have the pre-order deluxe version of the game, and my partner is playing it through family share and seems to have gotten all the bonuses.

If they were to then buy the base game so we can play together, would they keep all the bonuses as they have already claimed them on her account?

Uff thats a good question, since they are no seperate DLC, i think it should work. Only dedicated seperate DLC contents should not be shared, since thes eneed to be owned on the seperate steam account..

If you ask it like that. No.

Depending on how you phrase it, they might.

Probably taking this too literally, but my phrasing probably doesn't effect the real life results.

Besides, I can't really phrase it any differently as that's the exact situation

If they are item rewards like consumables then no you won’t lose them. You may lose access to cosmetics if you unequip them. But it is based on the save slot you use. If your partner buys the game license then they will keep everything in the save but won’t have it if they start new.

It’s why mods/cheats can activate DLC or event stuff for free because it’s all local, doesn’t affect others and theres no enforcement from Capcom.

You’ll have to test the cosmetics, what I think will happen is you’ll keep them equipped but next time you launch with it unequipped it will disappear until you buy the dlc again.

Sounds good to me. Worst case my partner can always launch my account version anyway to make a new character or equip cosmetics, then swap back.
