The best Hunting Horn for multiplayer depends on the party - you taking the HH with the effects which are needed/used most.
As in: bow users and dual daggers can benefit from stamina enhancement, well prepared parties might prefer paralysis support and others will cry for earplugs and divine protection.
In geneal the Omiltika series is quite easy to use in every situation.
The paralysis Omiltika is a great choice then. High damage output, high flexibility due to its 3-3-3 slots, and paralysis is always quite popular as every player can benefit from it.
If you do not like Artian I recommend alternatively
Resounding Galahad
for more offense
Gramklang
for more defense
status horns come with offset melody
elemental comes with resounding melody
artian + arkveld hh are both viable raw options and can be used together. I found most success in learning that resounding melody does a lot of damage quickly compared to echo waves and resounding melody usage does not turn the notes into a clean slate so you can already prep another resounding melody after it.
been playing it and it's fun healing and buffing people. i even got to 300 buffs in a hunt :D:D:D
It negates ailments from happening, and removes any existing ailments on your party. Examples for what it prevents and nullifies: Stench, Poison, Sleep, Stunned/Blinded, and Bleeding.

Personally, I think Omitolka (Paralysis) is a good general horn, but the Zoh Sia Horn is also decent; it comes with Attack Up/Defense Up S, Stamina Use Reduced L, Wind Pressure Negate and Defense Up. It buffs Dual Blades / Bow Users, gives some attack, and its echo wave blunt is extremely seamless to queue into.
Another good general horn is the Congalala Horn; it comes with Stamina Use Reduced and Defense Up, but the real reason you'd use it is because of the Attack Up and Affinity Bubble which gives +10% attack and +15% affinity when you or your team is inside the bubble. If you're really confident in keeping the monster in one place, and/or prepared to use flashes / traps / etc. to lock it down, it can be a ridiculous buff for your team.
Aside from that, people also like Arkveld Horn due to Attack Up L, Sharpness, and Melody Extend (it not only extends your songs, but also the songs of others if another HH joins). People will commonly pair something like the Mizutsune Horn or Gore Horn for their Earplugs L and Affinity Up song, and then switch to Arkveld and maintain those two buffs through Melody Extend without ever having to switch back to their secondary horn.
Or, you could use a horn like Arkveld and play Attack Up L at the beginning of the fight, and then switch to Congalala Horn and take advantage of its echo bubbles for a total of 20% attack and 15% affinity while you or your team is in the Congalala Echo Bubble—but you might have to switch back to Arkveld to reapply Attack Up L if the fight runs long.
Lastly, you could try Queen Chordmaker if you like Melody of Life; it comes with Attack Up XL, so you can give a decent attack buff while still being able to put out a group heal with your horn.
