About Character Equipment
May I ask if it's possible to add a feature to the equipment crafting page that shows whether an item has already been crafted (and its appearance unlocked)?
This way, it would be easier to collect all the available appearance variations without having to compare back and forth.

Also, could you consider adding a feature to lock equipment or mark favorite gear?

Thank you, and keep up the great work!

There is already a symbol for having something crafted.

High Rank items you already crafted becomes automatically available as layered armour, so no extra symbol needed there.

You can use loadouts already for equipment and favourites.

Check the Change equipment page for that.

Right now, after equipment gets deleted, there's no way to tell from the crafting page whether you've made it before or not. This makes it pretty inconvenient for players who want to collect all the different appearance variations, since you have to manually check and go back and forth — it's a really tedious process.

Also, the ability to lock equipment is a basic feature. It helps with organizing and prevents accidentally selling important gear.

Well that is your fault for selling equipment, the equipment box is so big that you might never run out of inventory space… and if you are so poor that you need the money, there are faster and easier methods than selling your old gear.
Perhaps your wish is already granted: we are getting layered weapons / skins in summer :lunar2019piginablanket:

Deleting equipment in Monster hunter...
The game clearly marks which equipment you have already crafted with a chest icon to symbolize that you have it in your stash. Or with some green thingy if you have it equipped.

You simply can't craft it again becaue when trying to you'll get to the upgrade menu instead.

I do like how you don't end up with multiple copies of the same thing like in World.

Although I might be wrong but I think that might still happen with the charms or whatever they're called.

It does, if you craft a talisman the game will mark it with a little chest, but if you upgrade it the chest will disappear.
