May be Capcom should take it easy when it come to releasing new MH title .
Just played Doom Dark Age and damn the game is very well optimized with less weird bug , glitch and crash with ID own game engine .

Monster Hunter are scheduled to release yearly , so the dev are forced to finish the project before deadline which results in poorly optimized game because they don't have much time to fiddle with their in-house engine .

Would people go crazy if they don't see their next MH game with 2 years interval ?

I definitely feel like I was monkey pawed, initially when I saw the 2025 release date my heart sank.
MH was one of the big games i was excited for, the other being borderlands 4. That's all for big games, the rest are indies, like 5 or 6 or more. I wouldn't mind, i have indies to fill the gap

I wouldn't mind games 2 or even 3/4 years apart. The optimization on this game is terrible even more so with not one but two bloatwares. I spent most of the first 10 of hours of this game in slow choppy unresponsive limbo until I started messing with the config files manually and downloaded mods to stabilize the game.

Easy fix for Monster Hunter Wilds. Get rid of all the endemic life and small monsters. Only large huntable monster should be on the map.

Yearly? Between iceborn and rise was an almost 2 year gap and between sunbreak and wilds was an almost 3 year gap…
They also chose the worst possible engine for a wide open areas MH game, which is what's causing most issues and can't be fixed.

Where do you get this information that MH is scheduled to release yearly?

The real difference is developers here is that Idtech still have people, engine engineers, with the talent and skill set to improve and maintain an engine and understand how their engine pipeline works. Crapcom does not. Doesn't matter how long you take a break you just bleed money when you don't have people that know how to make your software tools.
