Is there no quicksafe?
Just did a big farming run of 4 hours. Fast travel, loading in to other maps, crafting equipment everthing except missions. didnt even fight monsters. Than the game crashed and ALL my progress was gone.

I understand that you cant safe in the field. thats ok. But why is there no quick safe when im back in camp? or when you travel into another map?

Is there a reason for that?

There are only manual saves, you need to be more responsible and save periodically. It's on you.

wasnt blaming anybody just wanted to know why there is no quicksafing in a 2025 game.
the game has autosave, there is a message on startup.

But it only seems to autosave at the end of a proper mission. This is a good thing though, to me. Last night I really messed up crafting armor and was glad to save scum that one!

A console game.

Investigations are quests, yes.

ok so basicly it saves a lot than. Its just if you do a pacifist farming run (what a minority is doing i asume) i should safe manuelly. Still think a quicksave if you enter a base camp would be nice.
It saves every time you get back from a quest.

The game can also delete your save and character with no warning. So just be ready to lose everything.

That is no game issue. That is an OS issue.

it saves if you complete a story mission,

if you are just out exploring, it doesn't save if you cursh.

if asks you if you want to save every time before you exit a game, so make sure you click yes.

Really? What causes it and how do I fix it then?
It saves at random points in the story.
It saves when you complete a hunt.
Apparently now it saves at random points while processing equipment too.
It saves when you manually select to Save (it is in the last of the menus).
It prompts you to save when you quit the game or return to the title screen.

Honestly it is overbearing with all the save options.
It is a fairly amazing thing that you managed to go that long without the game saving on its own..... and here you are insisting on a quicksave?

Just open up the freakin menu, cycle over to the last tab... and click Save.
There. There is your quicksave.
